This is a serious question for serious responses please. I would like to hear from church folks who have a role in their church and are paid for their services- such as musician, clerk, custodian, etc. I have a problem 'asking' the pastor for a raise. I am a musician and have been for 16 years. The first 15 I was paid $500 per month to play the piano, sing, teach songs to the choir, be available for other services of the church, and outside visitation, prayer, etc. Since then, I have received one raise of $100. So, for 14 years this is the salary I have made. I can almost count on one hand the times I have missed. I mean, my “tragedy” is that I have everything to survive, but nothing to live for. I have ALL of my most basic needs met, and yet I’m still unsatisfied. What the hell is wrong with me? I cannot be fulfilled? It’s like, I’ve climbed the ranks of Maslow’s hierarchy of needs and there’s nothing at the top of it. I mean, I don’t have any friends and I have a strained relationship with my family, but that doesn’t jeopardize my existence. I don’t freeze to death in the cold winter nights because I have a nice, comfy, warm, luxurious bed. I don’t starve to death because my damn cupboards are overflowing with readily available food. I have EVERYTHING, except hope. I fully acknowledge though, that these luxuries are the only things that keep me alive. These luxuries give me the ability of patience. I am allowed to not freeze or starve to death until I, yet again, have to single-handedly drag my hopeless *** back out into this indifferent, cold world and give myself some hope. But seriously, if these luxuries were taken away from me, and I was the equivalent to a beggar, I would freaking kill myself. I would “get the memo.” Life doesn’t want me here? Fine. I get it. On top of a hopeless journey, where there’s absolutely nothing at the end of it, why the hell would I waste my time trying to “recover” from poverty? I know better. There would be nothing at the end of it…well for me. First truck crossing my path will get the privilege of running my *** over. Hopefully it doesn’t come to that though. so let me set up the scene. walking through wal-mart, i notice this girl in electronics alone looking at some movie's, I just glanced and kept walking went to the valentine candy aisle across the store, wanted some candy, while I was looking for this particular kind of candy that I like my dad, who was with me, saw the girl more or less wondering through the women's clothing probably 20 yards from us, I said were and walked to his vantage point. at that time she looked up and bam eye to eye contact from 60 feet not to bad right. well I didn't starr, just drifted my attention to something else. anyways found the candy and started back across the store to sporting goods were again I see the same girl down one of the aisles, just picked her up with the peripherals didn't look. went to get shampoo same girl now coming out of another aisle. now walking to check out I go to the first open register its 11:30 theres only two open but there she is again. this time as I'm putting my stuff on the counter she looks at me. Of course I smile but didn't really say anything. she makes her purchase and leaves right. not exactly walking out I see her standing at this dvd rental machine when i stop for a drink. she walks by, her car was two up from mine. she took off, I took off obviously having to go behind her as it is the way out. at the stop sign when i come up she is putting her car in and out of reverse basically the backup lights kept flashing on and off. thought nothing of it. both heading the same direction on a four lane the light turns red so i have to stop surprisingly right beside her. we take off she stays beside me for awhile then speds ahead and I change lanes instantly she changes lanes and a few hundred feet more turns into a store. I keep going glancing in the rear view I see her pull to the front of the store stop and then turn around and get back on the road behind me but like a half mile back. I turned off to the left at taco bell and I believe she kept going. but then I swear, she turned around after seeing my car and drove slowly by. so if you made it to the end of my story my question is did I miss out on a possible oppurtunity with a very attractive women or did she think, that I was stalking her??? How can I save my dog's life?

I have a 12 year old American Pitbull (13 in April) who started having seizures less than a year ago (the first one we noticed was on June 18, 2010 at my high school graduation party). The seizures started off where he would just collapse and be still for about 5 minutes. That only happened about 2 or 3 times. Then after christmas 2010 he started having grand mal seizures where he'll be doing normal activities or playing then he'll stop and lay down and be still for about a minute then starts convulsing then he'll end up urinating himself and when the convulsions are over he'll lay in the urine for about five minutes or so. Since christmas they have been getting more and more frequent, to the point where he's having them about once a week, and my parents made an appointment to put him down this wednesday, 3/30/11. Is there any way putting him on a raw food diet (not the one you buy pre-made but actually giving him an uncooked chicken carc as opposed to his current commercial food) or anything like that could help him? its a waste of time for us to even TRY to put him on medication because he won't eat it, and even when we put it in the back of his mouth and try to make him swallow it, he still manages to hide it behind the trash can, and on top of it no one in my house would probably give it to him past day 3 (and i don't live there anymore). I don't want to lose Petey, he's my best friend, and he's pretty much my brother: we may as well have been born from the same mother. I really can't lose him. What do you do when your drive is higher than your boyfriend's?

I've been with my boyfriend for two years, we live together and have an otherwise fantastic relationship - he's my best friend as well as my partner. The only issue is our life, which in the last 6 to 8 months has slowed down considerably. It's still pretty great, not quite as electrifying as before, but he's the best lover I've ever been with. All that said, we're now down to only having 1 or 2 times a week, and I find that's just not enough for me (I know this is common enough in other relationships, but you can only measure your own by your own standards, right?) My daughter is 9 1/2 months old and chokes on everything. She can eat some stage 2 food baby food but chokes on even the gerber crawler foods that are suppose to dissolve. I tried giving her watered down mashed potatoes and she chokes on them really bad. I tried giving her cow's milk in a cup (with dr's permission) and is separates her tummy and she throws up the clear stuff and it smells very sour. My siberian husky is wierd?

She is 3 months old 19 lbs. shes the biggest of her litter. and eats about 2 2/3 cups of orijen a day. Already understands her name, sit, and go sleepy (means go to her bed). but the strangest thing is that her left eye her pupils goes very foggy and small then it comes back to normal. which is scary. the vet check her out and said shes fine and healthy and really big for her age. but since the eye incident did not happen in front of him he only ran test on her eyes which came back negative for everything. GIRL CLOTHES: is it just me?

am being sued for a complaint called unjust impoverishment of a trust. My mom ped in Jan 2003 - her father 2 years before. He had a trust that listed some political memorabilia be given to a historical society. In the years prior to his ping he gave some of these items to family members. When he ped his 3 daughters including my mother divided up what was left. When she ped her Will said everything was to be given to me and my brother 50/50. The items were given before he ped, some were divided between the sisters, etc. I can't afford legal help. Now I have received a letter from the attorney stating I must show up for a deposition by him. Dress the way you like. I was the same when I was your age, I loved it. I know some people didn't think I was the prettiest girl but hey, I was happy. (It really is a good household) When those fell through, she accused his new wife of beating her youngest son and told the cops that there was brusies and welts on his bottom. and had her son (who has medical problems, she(the ex) wont treat) say the new wife hit him. The cops got there said they had to look at him on his bottom, ( which she fought until told she had to)...and nothing. The cops was upset. Now that all this fell through she has upped the allegations by saying now ual abuse. Seriously....isnt there a way to make her stop. She just wants him to split with his wife and sign over the kids completely. He is about to head to the luney bin, if this keeps growing. If she has gone this far...whats next? Ok if you try and cut it your self, you might get lucky and kill the nerves and not feel it but its a very slim chance. Also if you put a rubber band at the end of your finger and tied it around to cut off circulation and left it for 24 hours your finger would die and they would cut it of. Or you could crush it, make it flat and destroy it, then they would cut it off. The hospital uses amputaton as a last resort and only do it if they can't save it. Before you loose your finger, its the only one for that hand you have, and despite what you think using that hand with be significantly harder, you'll regret it when your older and hospital fees will cost your parents a lot of money.. don't be stupid, think before you do this.

I have been seeing this woman for a few years now. Her daughter used to sleep in her own bed until she was 3. Now its a nightly occurance for the child to sleep in moms bed.
