Do you hate Americans/America?

Hi, I'm an American teenager living on the USA's east coast. I am an aspiring history teacher so I spend a lot of time looking into the history of America as well as other countries all over the world. I am particularly fascinated with many European countries such as Ireland, Italy, and Germany. For obvious reasons, it seems like many countries harbor very negative feelings towards America for our government and Bush in particular during his presidency. I spent hours on this website looking into people's opinions of America and it all seems like many harbor very negative feelings towards us because of our government, and because truly, many Americans can be very ignorant. However, this is not true for all of us. As someone who appreciates other cultures very much, I fear that I will be mistreated should I ever travel outside of the United States. so, my question is, what are YOUR feelings towards Americans? I'd like to remind you all out there that there are some of us Americans who do have knowledge of geography, aren't fat and lazy, and aren't Bush-supporting bible thumpers haha! :)
