Help with smegma. My glans is really sensitive.?

I'm 13 and I think I've got a smegma/glans problem. I can now FINALLY retract my foreskin fully over the head of my without it hurting and have noticed a small buildup of this sort of hard white stuff I think is smegma. The only problem is my glans is really sensitive and I can't really touch it. I've managed to wash most of it of with just plain warm water which is good but I've noticed the smegma is stuck to the foreskin. It's starting to hurt when I clean it I don't know what to do. The smegma doesn't smell which is a plus but I'm afraid it might have gone down my shaft a bit. Any suggestions...? I don't think it's serious enough to go see a doctor about I just need some advice.
