Halloween uk and usa ?

My personal opinion of this is that it has to do with the overwhelming Fundamentalism of this country. Many people think it is a "Devil" holiday but don't want to take away the treats for the kids. So children wear no "evil" costumes. I think there is also they problem of commercialism added to that as well. I like to dress up in scary costumes and encourage my nieces to as well and tell them the origins of the holiday. Most people don't do that.
