Where to look for a job?

With a general business degree, what jobs can you do if you have a felony on your record? My fiance has one and is having trouble figuring out what he can do for work-he wanted to do law school but he found out that he won't find out if he can practice law until after he finishes law school and tries to p the bar, which is a total waste of time and money. It happened about 8 years ago (larceny in a building) and I'm just wondering if anybody else has a similar charge and what you're doing for work now, especially if you're in the business field. He got hired by a clothing company for a management position (they actually offered him the position with a starting date and salary then called him a week later and basically took it back because of his felony-this is a whole problem in itself).
